A welcoming space to dine or just to sample some tapas with friends and family, where the ingredients and preparation take central stage accompanied by a unique selection of wines and beers. All of Spanish origin.
A simple yet sophisticated restaurant, evocative of walking into a Spanish tapería.
Tapeo & Wine is located over two floors in a grade II-listed building with a smart, stylish fit-out, preserving original features while boasting Spanish flair, with copper beer barrel piping and dials adorning the main wall upstairs, while gauges hang downstairs in the copper-panelled private dining room.
The menu, with Mediterranean influence, centres around charcuteria platters, small tapas, larger dishes ‘para compartir o no’ (to share, or not), homemade desserts and daily seasonal specials, all of these with first class quality ingredients and simple cooking.
The same ethos extends to the bar, which stocks a carefully-chosen selection of Spanish wine, cava and beer, much of it imported directly and specially for T&W.
Founders Nacho Perez and Natalia Esquerdo have over 20 years’ experience in Manchester’s hospitality industry and were innovators in the import of Spanish Spanish products and ingredients through their Lola España venture.
Tapeo and Wine is the place to be for an authentic Spanish meal and drink, with a menu of Spanish food designed to appeal to everyone and an informal vibe that means guests are welcome to pop in for food, drink or both, reflecting the true culture of Spain
