Good times and chemistry collide in this hidden space behind the crate-covered door. The aptly named ‘Science & Industry’ space features its own back room laboratory where the team, headed up by Massimo Zitti, cook up cutting-edge cocktail creations, pushing the boundaries of molecular mixology.
The bar features Manchester inspired worker bee wallpaper alongside ornate lighting fixtures and custom made upholstery.
The lab has led to the creation of a number of innovative cocktail creations, including Massi’s famous edible perfumes which they spray onto the rims of glasses. The team has even been holding regular workshops with the University of Manchester chemistry department where they have been learning the finer details of distillation, filtration and crystallisation.
