Waxy O'Connors Manchester
Waxy O'Connor's is a unique pub located at The Printworks in the heart of Manchester city centre, with a labyrinth of 3 bars covering 4 levels and 9 separate areas that are linked together by a maze of staircases and passages.
The interior décor features church like timber carvings, stained glass windows and distinctive tiled floors but, most unusual of all, is a 250 year
old tree!
The Waxy's tree was brought over from Ireland in 2002 and is now at the hub of the pub stretching from the back of the Church Bar right up to the Sofa Gallery on the fourth level.
A sight you can't miss on arrival.
Each area within Waxy's has its own style and atmosphere and is perfect for all kinds of occasions.
You can even reserve an exclusive area, whether it be for work or leisure, for a small group of friends or an extravagant affair for all the office (maximum 300 guests).
It's even possible to enjoy your own private and exclusive room for major sporting events.

The Pump Yard Bar opens up into The Printworks and offers 'indoor outdoor' seating in the heart of Europe's first urban entertainment centre.
The cosy 30 capacity Sofa Gallery is the most exclusive room situated above the Pump Yard Bar with views into The Printworks and also to the Waxy's tree and down towards the Church Bar.
With its comfy leather sofa chairs, coffee tables
and soft lighting, The Sofa Gallery makes a great area for private parties and informal meetings.

The 300 capacity Church Bar is Waxy's most spectacular bar with its amazing distinctive tiled floors and wooden carved Cathedral style bar.
Hiding at the back of the Church Bar is the small and snug Tin Room ideal for smaller parties.
The Red & Green Rooms, located just off the main Church Bar, are the most popular for livelier private functions as they allow you to be in your own area but still close to the heart of the pub.
The 40 capacity Red Room is a warm, bright area with a cosy feature fireplace and the adjoining 20 capacity Green Room looks into the Church Bar.
The 35 capacity Country Kitchen, with its large windows, provides lots of natural daylight and views to the famous Urbis Centre.
