There are a number of pubs and bars around Manchester Piccadilly Station, Piccadilly Gardens and Portland Street.

From the minute you step off the train at Piccadilly, there's a choice of traditional pubs, sports bars, cocktail lounges, hotel bars and even two golf bars, next to the station itself.

The walk down Station Approach towards Piccadilly Gardens offers funky hotel bars, chain bars and traditional pubs.

From here you can venture right into the Northern Quarter with its popular bohemian bars, turn left to Canal Street and the Gay Village, or continue down the main Market Street shopping area towards the vibrant Printworks, Corn Exchange and Deansgate.

Alternatively, take a 90 degree left turn at Piccadilly Gardens and walk down Portland Street, sandwiched either side by the Gay Village and China Town, to experience some of Manchester's most intimate traditional pubs, large chain bars and even a science fiction theme bar complete with Darleks!
