KIDS EAT from £5.95 |
Although you'd be forgiven for thinking it dates back to the 1820s, the time of the historic warehouses around it, this beautiful Castlefield restaurant was actually built in 1998 and traded until 2005 as 'Jackson's Wharf'', before Brunning & Price spectacularly re-opened it in July 2012. The large building offers a huge canalside terrace alongside innumerable nooks and crannies, with cosy, intimate rooms and alcoves in which you (and your dog) can enjoy the friendly "country pub" atmosphere, traditional British dishes, 12 cask ales, 50 wines, 100 whiskies and delicious Sunday roasts.
