Back in April, Selina, the Israeli-owned, Panama-based "digital nomad" backpackers accommodation, co-working and wellness company, announced their aggressive expansion into Europe, from its 25 Latin American and Miami locations, by purchasing Hatter's two Manchester hostels - as well as their Liverpool and Birmingham sites - in a deal worth over £30 million.

The two hostels are now set to rebranded under the Selina name, with the original Hatter's Hostel - based in the stunning former hat factory on Newton Street; one of the most beautiful buildings in Manchester - set to be transformed with the introduction of The Green House, a wellness cafe and healthy juice bar on the ground floor.
The takeover will also see change for Hatter's popular Hilton Chambers venues, The Patron and The Corner Boy Irish Bar & Deli; which was only rebranded (from West CNR) in October 2018.
The Patron will remain as a bar and live music venue, however its classy green Belle Epoque look will get a bright makeover to reflect the new Latin vibe, with salsa classes and club nights hosted downstairs.
