Providing direct competition to Australasia, next door, the Asian-inspired venue is set to take the iconic building on Deansgate, which will soon be vacated by Armani.
Part of the Caprice group of restaurants, owned by London fashion manufacturer Richard Caring - who also owns The Ivy, - Sexy Fish serves Japanese-inspired sushi, sashimi, tiradito, tempura, seafood, fish and meat cooked on a Robata grill.

Like its neighbouring cousin, The Ivy, the look and feel is mid-century glamour, with The Mayfair restaurant decorated with art by Damien Hirst, Frank Gehry and Michael Roberts, and houses two of the largest live coral reef tanks in the world.
As you would expect, the prices in Mayfair reflect the opulence and the London venue's cocktail bar also holds the world’s biggest Japanese whisky collection.
A date for the opening has not yet been confirmed.
