One of Manchester's best loved and oldest restaurants is set to close for good.
The Individual Restaurants group have announced their flagship venue, Restaurant, Bar & Grill on John Dalton Street, will close on September 5th 2021.
The closure, together with those of Alderley Bar & Grill, and the Piccolino restaurants in Clitheroe and York, is part of a long-term development plan for the company with 140 jobs at risk.

The group, who also run the Gino D’Acampo restaurant chain, are actually headquartered above the John Dalton Street venue, however also have offices above their Piccolino Caffé Grande in Albert Square.
Plans for the site have not yet been announced, however, we are led to believe that, the unit will not be vacant for long.
