Great news for fans of Tom's Champagne House inside Kendals, which operated for over nine years until the financial troubles of the House Of Fraser group forced them to close in February 2018.
The department store, which has stood on Deansgate since 1832, was saved from banktrupcy by Sports Direct owner Mike Ashley in August 2018, and has now announced that the bubbles are back, with Kendals Champagne Bar opening on the third floor with a much larger seating area.
The sixth floor Kendals Restaurant is also set to reopen after refurbishment.
