Housing 70 covers in its contemporary restaurant, with a further 40 in the city’s latest luxurious cocktail bar, the venue is one of the hottest new launches on the Manchester food and drink calendar.
Restaurants Of Manchester were invited down to take a sneak peek of what customers can expect when the doors open:
First up, Three Little Words’ cocktail menu features ever-evolving concoctions, featuring the award winning Manchester Gin, in addition to a plethora of other quality tipples. There’s something to suit all tastes, whether you’re a gin lover or are partial to something else.
The drinks offering is complemented by a fresh, seasonally driven food menu that takes inspiration from the botanicals that service the in-house distillery. There’s a quality and varied menu, showcasing both large and small plate formats, from proven favourites to some interesting new flavours.
Ambitions are high, with the restaurant aiming to be given a Michelin Guide mention within two years of launch.
Behind the pass, you will find classically trained head and development chef, Jimmy Carr, who has stated: “At Three Little Words, we want fresh flavours to come through in all of our dishes. As much as possible, all of our ingredients are locally sourced, and being in a city with such a rich culture and history, we’ve aimed to incorporate this into our varied menu.”

Finally, we were treated to a lesson in all things gin, at the Manchester Gin distillery school.
After some history and background, keen gin fanatics can distil their own bespoke creation, tailored to their own tastes and preferences. A master distiller is on hand to give guidance on that all important art of flavour pairing and balance.
You leave with a bottle of your very own gin, which can be recreated at any time, as the exact measurement of all botanicals used in student's concoctions, is kept on record for future reference. So, you can go back any time and reorder a bottle of your bespoke creation.
Manchester Gin Co-Founder and Master Distiller, Seb Heeley, said: “This is the culmination of a life ambition for Jen and I. From the very first day we met [in Liar's Club], we talked about our dreams to open our own bar, so this feels like a huge milestone for us! We couldn’t have started this venture without the support of Manchester, so to be able to create 45 jobs and give something back to this amazing city means the world to us.”
Three Little Words will be officially opening on Sunday 15th September. The bar and restaurant will be open from 10am every day, until 12am Sunday – Thursday, and 1am Friday and Saturday.
