Despite being open for less than a year, Deansgate Locks movie-inspired table top dancing joint Coyote Ugly have closed their doors for business, for an "unspecified time".
Water damage forced the venue to close on the 17th March for a week, however, despite re-opening, advice from electrical contractors, structural engineers and health & safety officers, has lead to their closure with the landlord taking back the building temporarily to make the venue watertight again.
This will involve investigation works by removing the ceiling, meaning that the entire building will be covered in scaffold, making it impossible to trade.
